Weight Loss Tip #1: Why Most Fail and Only a Few Succeed at Being Fit
In the information age, many of the principles of health and fitness has become all but common knowledge.
Nevertheless, there is still a very clear gap between people who become successful and losing weight and / or a suitable residence and those who do not.
Why is that? And what can you do to increase your chances of success are in the minority as opposed to the majority of work?
When it comes to the world and a corresponding decrease in body weight, usually there are two areas that help to determine what you can expect for your efforts.
1) Genetic Factors
2) Psychological Factors
Most of the information out there that are geared around genetic factors and how to compensate for the lack of experience with a number of physical activity and diet.
One of the most popular topics along the lines of genetics is that Body Type.
Anatomy of body types are generally broken down into three basic groups: Ectomorphic, Mesomorphic, and Endomorphic.
Type Ectomorphic characterized as a person with a thin body frame, top and bottom that has easiesttime keep their weight under control. Basketball player and a runway model will often enter into this category.
Mesomorphic body type is characterized as a man with an athletic frame and generally muscular, well proportioned body. Bodybuilders and dancers will often be appropriate here.
Endomorphic body type tends to be a figure generally round and often will have the most problems in keeping unwanted weight of their bodies.
Most of us are a combination of two or more types with one being more dominant than others.
One important note about the type of anatomy is that while they may provide some insight into how you look outside, they can deceive us as to how healthy you are internally. Many people who may be “thin” is literally rotting inside because of bad habits (poor diet, smoking, lack of exercise).
Conversely, there are many people who are not stereotypical thin, but healthy image due to a healthy lifestyle (proper nutrition, physical activity).
The role of the public knowing your body type is to get an explanation of how your body will tend to respond to diet and lifestyle in terms of how easy or challenging as possible for you to “hold together” in certain areas. Another way to classify your body is a hormone-producing glands that you dominate the way you process the nutrients in the foods you eat.
This (“metabolism”) glandular types will fall into one of four categories: adrenal, Thyroidal, pituitary, or gonads. Explanation of each is very similar to the anatomy of the body types of the above. This type tends to correspond to the type of adrenal anatomy mesomorphic. The thyroidal similar to the ectomorphic, endomorphic and pituitary to it.
Type of gonad is the only classification of a woman who is a hybrid of a slender above but somewhat larger below the waist with a large amount of body fat. Gonad body types among women who are more often referred to as “pear shaped”.
There are three types of classification body that you could find that comes from Ancient India. It has to do with the “doshas” – how the earth’s energy field and your physical masses interact to affect how you feel.
It is not directly related to the physical aspects of weight loss but tend to give you an idea of how what psychological benefits or challenges that you may have when it comes to getting and staying healthy.
This brings me to the main point of clarity in this article:
Valuable information such as all body types as possible to learn your body, it’s not the “end all” that is often marketed to be.
You do not “guaranteed” to look and feel great or “destined” to become overweight and unhealthy just based on your genetics and classification of the body. Body type should only be used to provide insight on what benefits or challenges that you may have in your quest for a lifetime of fitness — is not life or death sentence that limits what you can accomplish.
In fact, psychological factors related to how you look and feel is really where the rubber meets the road in weight loss and stay healthy and fit.
This is where you will find the tools to tackle any physical challenge you are faced with. Therefore, this is where you really focus your energy MAJORITY if you become and stay successful with your health and fitness goals.
One thing that many people do not consider is how knowledge of the “body type” they are and what it means to affect their psychological outlook in the first place.
Many of the “fit” people who look great because they eat right and exercise do so because they believe that they’ve “got something” valuable and retained. Therefore, their healthy lifestyle is just a matter of course.
The importance of the effect your outlook on your results can not be ignored. Frankly, your Outlook directly affect the output.
